❤WhatzBuzzin'?: A Trip to the Filipino Store❤
In where we live, there are not a whole lot of Filipino stores. Most of them are downtown, which is like an hour drive. The closest one we have is about 6 miles from my house. It's not far but it's not close. Lol! So everytime we go there, I buy like a month of supply, you will never know when you're going back. Anyway, I was feeling a bit homesick the other day and wanted to eat chips-filipino chips. I asked my husband if we can go to the store and after a lot of persuasion, he agreed and drove
❤WhatzBuzzin'?: Best Family-Friendly Spots to watch the Super Bowl❤
SUPER BOWL- This week's talk of the town!!:) Personally, I am not a big fan of Football, or any sport for that matter, but after that game I saw between Seattle Seahawks and 49ers, I am all of a sudden obsessed with the thought of getting a Seahawk car decal, finding jerseys online and even cheerleading outfit for Cassie. It's the thought of being part of the community that appeals to me. The pride of being a "Seattle-ite?", I guess. Don't get me wrong, I have relatives in California but I have never been there and I live here so obviously I am a little biased. I don't understand the rules of foot

❤WhatzBuzzin'?: Chicken Soup Filipino Style (Chicken Tinola with Malunggay and Sayote)❤
I have been cooking traditional Filipino food lately. It's like i'm homesick all of a sudden. I miss the good food from the Philippines like street food, balut, sisig, lechon and so much more! The other day, we went to the Filipino store to get some food and chips (which I will be showing on a different post). Also we got some Filipino vegetables that I like. Today I decided to cook an all time favorite dish called Chicken Tinola. This dish reminds me best of my Grandfather. He loves soup! Especially fish soup (Fish Tinola). Anyway, cooked some tinola before but

❤WhatzBuzzin'?: How to clean your stove top❤
I admit it is a pain to clean our stove top especially when I fry food. Oil residue tend to stick and makes it difficult to remove sometimes. I have used a lot of stove top cleaners in the past including Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, damp cloth and other "cleaners" but none of them seem to work or make my stove top shiny at least from all those gunks of cookin

❤WhatzBuzzin'?: Homemade Potato Chips❤
Cassie and I went out today for what supposed to be was a Sushi afternoon, instead we ended up going around the mall. I admit, I'm beginning to become like my husband when it comes to crowds. Especially with Cassie around. I have that fear in me that what if there will be a bomb explosion and were inside the mall. Thoughts like that scare me, so I decided to just go home where it's safer and we can do whatever we want. When we got home, I was craving for chips but of course I forgot to drop by the store. So I browsed Pinterest and thought maybe I can find something interesting to cook. Then I saw the homemade potato chips recipe. Luckily, we have all the ingredients (which is not a lot). Frankly

❤WhatzBuzzin'?: Honey Baked Chicken Drumsticks❤
Chicken is probably my ultimate "go-to" food/meat of all time, next to rice. I love drumstick, thighs and wings. I know this sounds weird but I love the skin especially when it's fried. My husband makes fun of me whenever I eat chicken because I eat up to the bones. Finger Lickin Good! When I was still in the Philippines, my mom used to bring me to Jollibee most of the time because she knows how much I love fried chicken. Then we moved here in Washington and the only time I can get Jollibee is when we go visit my father-in-law since it's closer to him. I admit, it's quite a drive down that chicken place. Anyway, I was looking at chicken recipes the other day to cook for dinner. I made
❤WhatzBuzzin'?: Eye Make Up Using "Nude Tude Naked Palette" from The Balm❤
First of all, I would like to say I am not a professional make up artist or anything like that (so no judging, lol!). Just like other women, I love make up. Like I am obsessed with them!. I mean who doesn't? I don't really put make up on especially when i'm just at home. Well, even if I go out (sometimes). But if I actually put some on, I always make sure it looks perfect or flawless. I have been wanting the Naked Palette ever since but it's so expensive that I might not end up using it. Lol!. I heard a lot of good feedback about this Nude Tude Palette from The Balm which is pretty much close to Naked Palette. I watched a bunch of YouTube tutorials for this palette and it did look flattering and really nice! So I decided to put Nude Tude Palette on my Christmas 2013 wishlist and you can just imagine how amazed I was when I really did receive it from my beloved Aunt!! I was so excited to use it and

❤WhatzBuzzin'?: Mexican Dinner and Surprise Dessert ❤
Last night, my husband (fine, I did too!) had a craving for Mexican food. we have been to several Mexican restaurants here in our area but we always come back to Mazatlan. There's just something about this place. Blah, what am I talking about, of course it's the food!! Yes they have great and yummy food!. I have been wanting to eat Tilapia lately and closest to it that I can eat is fish crackers, which I buy from the Filipino store. Whenever we go to Mexican restaurants, I always order their cheese and onion enchiladas. Last night was different and so to satisfy my craving, I ordered their Pesto Frita (or something like that). It's in their "special menu" and husband had -something. Price was decent considering on how big the fish was!! It was like the size of my plate, which was pretty huge by the way. Served with tomatoes, avocadoes, (a green sauce) flour tortilla and other pretty garnishments, I gobbled it up like a hungry fisherman, as my husband watched in despair (towar
