❤WhatzBuzzin'?: Eye Make Up Using "Nude Tude Naked Palette" from The Balm❤

First of all, I would like to say I am not a professional make up artist or anything like that (so no judging, lol!). Just like other women, I love make up. Like I am obsessed with them!. I mean who doesn't? I don't really put make up on especially when i'm just at home. Well, even if I go out (sometimes). But if I actually put some on, I always make sure it looks perfect or flawless. I have been wanting the Naked Palette ever since but it's so expensive that I might not end up using it. Lol!. I heard a lot of good feedback about this Nude Tude Palette from The Balm which is pretty much close to Naked Palette. I watched a bunch of YouTube tutorials for this palette and it did look flattering and really nice! So I decided to put Nude Tude Palette on my Christmas 2013 wishlist and you can just imagine how amazed I was when I really did receive it from my beloved Aunt!! I was so excited to use it and
try it on. So I "researched" and watched some more YouTube tutorials and found one that I really like. It's kind of smokey eyes (which is very popular nowadays) but the subtle one. Not the one that is very dark. As you can see on the picture below, it is really not that obvious and I like that. I like simple yet elegant at the same time. I tried smokey eyes before and I ended up looking like a raccoon or somebody punched me on the eye, which is worse!!. So for another attempt, I finally mastered (blah) the "soft smokey eye" look and that's what I achieved on this look. The second picture shows you how subtle it is even though you can see I used a lot of dark colors. To get this look just continue reading :)

I actually put on a concealer all over my lid before anything just so I can have a more vivid pop of colors. With my fluffy brush, I used the color "Sultry" and popped it on my brow bone just to kind of emphasize it a little bit more as I transition colors. Now with a flat shader brush, I used the 2nd darker color which is called "Silly" and packed it in my lid. My technique was "pack-blend-pack-blend" so as not to leave a very harsh line. You can also use a blender brush to blend everything out. Then taking another clean fluffy brush, I used the maroon-ish color called "Sexy" and blending it in from the outer "V" of my eye and blending it inwards (fade effect). You want a soft fade so make sure to lightly blend. Taking my other clean flat shader brush, I used the color "Sleek" and popped it on my lower lash line. Lastly, I take a bigger flat shader brush and used the color "Sassy" and kind of contour or follow my brow bone just to make it emphasized and pop out. It's like highlighting your brows:) And that's pretty much it! Now don't forget the key to getting the smokey look is to always blend every time you add on a new color so that you won't end up having harsh lines. So remember, BLEND, BLEND, BLEND!!!:)
