SUPER BOWL- This week's talk of the town!!:) Personally, I am not a big fan of Football, or any sport for that matter, but after that game I saw between Seattle Seahawks and 49ers, I am all of a sudden obsessed with the thought of getting a Seahawk car decal, finding jerseys online and even cheerleading outfit for Cassie. It's the thought of being part of the community that appeals to me. The pride of being a "Seattle-ite?", I guess. Don't get me wrong, I have relatives in California but I have never been there and I live here so obviously I am a little biased. I don't understand the rules of foot
ball, well I know what the basics mean, that's why when we were watching the last game, my husband and my father-in-law kept on explaining to me whatever is happening during the game. When I was in the Philippines I used to watch basketball games a lot because some of the kids I grew up with were basketball players. Anyway, this Sunday is going to be be THE big day and i'm sure all of us are going to be staring at our tv's-bigtime! As for me and my family, we will be heading down to my father-in-law's and watch it there. I am sure a lot of parents wants to watch the game at a sports bar or somewhere loud (because that's where it's more exciting) but are hesitating to do so because of the question: Who will watch my kids? Lucky for some of you who will be able to find a babysitter that day, but come on everybody, and I mean everybody, will be eyes on the game that time, so hiring a babysitter may not a good option. Why not take your kids with you? Yes you read it right. Thanks to our "kid friendly" sports bar here in Seattle, we can take our kids to watch the game this Sunday! How exciting is that? Watching one of the most iconic game of the season and spending time with the entire family? Now that's a touchdown if you ask me.
